Cyrus's Friends!

Victor has two friends (they are brothers actually) who had pregnant wives the same time I was pregnant. It was fun to all be pregnant at the same time, swapping ideas and complaining about things together.

We all had very different deliveries, me a scheduled induction, Heather, your typical water-breaks-in-the-bed type, and Erika, an emergency c-section. It was fun sharing all the gross details with someone who had also just experienced the wonders of child birth :)

Last night the kiddos got to meet out of the womb for the first time. Aubrey, the oldest, was born at the end of October, Cyrus, in mid-December, and Rykar, the youngest, but also the biggest was born at the end of January.

It was so cute to see them interact with one another at such a young age, and it's going to be so exciting watching them grow up together!

I took some pics of my boys with my new phone, because Victor took the camera to work again....we should get him his own shouldn't we?

I think they're pretty good pictures considering they're from a phone....I wish it had a flash though....



I swear, I dress my kid everyday. He seriously refuses to keep them on.

He says,"Ori, warm, not cold."

Apparently the only time we wear clothes is when it's cold, good thing we don't live in Arizona :)

3 Day Check Up....

I took Cyrus back in to the Dr today for his scheduled weigh in check up. He gained a whopping 9 ounces!! I am so proud of my little sleepy head! I feel bad because I totally feel like it's my fault! I just took too much of an advantage of the fact that he really likes to sleep, especially when he's really comfy (like when he's in his SwaddleMe blanket, we've limited his use of it because he could sleep forever in it!)

But I am also glad that it was only the eating thing....because the Dr. scared me by naming a bunch of metabolical diseases that it could be, yikes!

So we're just glad Cyrus is healthy and starting to gain weight (wouldn't it be nice if we were given a pat on the back for gaining weight!)

So, Cyrus went to the Dr. yesterday for his 2 months check up and he gained all of 2 oz! The dr. wasn't too happy about that....so he assured me it wasn't my fault :) and after chatting he decided that Cyrus is probably getting lazy since my milk came in, meaning he actually has to work at getting the milk out instead of it "dribbling" into his mouth. And Cyrus sleeps alot......I figured he'd just wake up when he was hungry, but I guess not.

Other than the weight he's been growing awesomely!

So, Cyrus has been on strict eating schedule, that insists of me feeding him on both sides each feeding and offering him formula after he eats on both sides. So, I've been paranoid and won't let him sleep longer than 3 hours (unless it's night time)....so he can get all the calories he needs so he can fatten up!

Anyway, that's my little update for now. Right now I have to feed the boy again :)

Happy Valentines Day!!

So for Valentines Day today Victor and I went out to the mall to FINALLY get new phones! Sprints been bugging us lately because our two year contract ended a few months ago and they REALLY wanted us to get another one apparently. So we took advantage of their Valentines Day sale Mail-in Rebate offer. We paid $100 for each phone, but we'll get a $50 rebate for each.....

So this is my pretty new phone....
Texting is a breeze with it! And it is SO fun! Victor got the same one except it's black and blue.

And while Orion, Cyrus and I were waiting for Victor to be finished in the Sprint store. Orion made everyone a Valentines Day card for everyone......


I especially like the one where he is hiding :)

Blast this Winter season!

That darn Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow today.....not that I'm surprised or anything. I guess we're in for another 6 weeks of Winter. I hope Orion's new snow boots come in the mail soon.....
