Haha, my friend April (far left) is always so creative, I posted another Halloween picture with her in it a few weeks ago, you'll have to go look, she's dressed as a speed bump! In this picture she is a fork :) Can you kinda tell?

Memory Monday

I found a bunch of fun old Halloween pictures while here at my mom's house. However, she doesn't have a scanner, so I'll have to bring them home for next weeks memory. So I'll post some fun pictures my mom already has on here.

This is my mom and her sisters and parents.....and from these 5 women came.....

....all these children (plus one more from my mom and two more from Tonya) It's pretty crazy how families grow exponentially......

Here are some crazy Halloween pictures from my mom's children......

Do you like Chandler's boobs?

Spongebob Chandler

Some of these kids are my Aunt Candi's and Serena's

Memory Thursday :)

The Many Colors of Alyssa's Hair
At the end of 9th grade I started dying my hair. It was a different color about every 8 weeks or so. My friend April and I had so much fun picking out new colors and dying my hair. Here are some of my crazy colors.First color experiment

Short and red

Short and dark (this is actually before the previous pic)

if you can't tell, it's black underneath

I needed to get my hair done....don't you love those roots?:)

Saturday Conference

I love conference! It is very rejuvenating, almost like being able to go to Church in your PJ's, except with Prophets speaking.

I'm just getting sad that everyone is getting so old.....it's depressing, but from their stories and such I know that they have lived wonderful lives.....more than I think I could live in 100 lifetimes.

I must say that one of my favorite talks was Elder Wirthlin's, he was such a trooper to stay up there and finish what he had to say. And Elder Nelson was awesome to get up there and give him a hand.

What great men we have leading the Church!

Haha, it's late.....I'll recap conference later.

Shots

So, I got my Rhogam shot today (for my Rh- blood disease from Gramma Mac). I usually don't mind shots and needles, but this shot really hurts!!! It's one of those burning shots where the medicine burns going in. And then.....well, the shot has to go in the hip, I'm not sure why, but it feels like there is a huge bruise across my back now, I hope it goes away soon because it's very unpleasant.

I don't know if any of you know much about this disease. I knew what it was because of my Nursing classes in high school, but never really knew the extent of it. I didn't even know that I had it until I was pregnant with Orion. It's kind of a complicated thing.....I don't understand it quite all the way. But when I found out that I was Rh-, my dad told me what Gramma Mac had to go through before they invented this Rhogam shot. I guess a few of my dad's brothers and sisters (I can't remember whom) had to have blood transfusions as babies because they developed Rhesus diesease, that's caused by the mother if her Rh- blood has developed antibodies against Rh+ blood.......but just getting this shot at 28 weeks and another if the baby has Rh+ blood will make my blood not develop antibodies.......like I said confusing.

But my back still hurts......

Oh, I'm going to my mom's again for the week, so I'm not sure how many posts I will make.

My boy is sick......

So I'm skipping out on my memory for now. Orion hasn't been feeling well the past few days and this morning he woke up with hives all over his belly and neck. So I called to Dr. early this morning and they said it's probably just an allergic reaction to something and as long as he doesn't have a fever, he'll be fine. Just to take it easy and give him benadryl......I'm just glad it's not the flu.

I hope everyone is well and healthy!
