Twilight........

was AMAZING!!! I finished it yesterday. Now I've been trying to get ahold of all my busy college friends to see if I can borrow the other books........the library's waiting list is honestly a year long!!!

Now I can say that I've jumped on the bandwagon and fallen in love with a vampire named Edward Cullen :)

Memory Monday

Last week was Victor and I's 5th Anniversery of the day we started "hanging out" (we were too young to be dating:))

Here's the oldest picture of us together( besides the football team picture in the yearbook), it was taken Halloween 2002, our Sophomore Year. It was the last year I went Trick-or-treating, I was 15, lol.

I remembered that I had a gift card to Deseret Book, so I went out and bought Twilight :) I just thought that you would be proud of me. I haven't started it yet, but I'll let know how I like it.

Halloween Preview

When Orion and I were at my mom's a few weeks ago, we went through her Halloween costumes......I knew she had good ones, so what's the use in going out and buying a new one :)? Orion wouldn't look at any of the other costumes after he spotted this Tigger one. He instantly stripped and insisted that he try it on. He jumped around for a few minutes and laughed because he had a tail and then wanted to get out because it was too hot (it will be perfect on Halloween though, it will get SO cold between now and then).

So here are some adorable pics of when he tried it on at home. In the second picture he got distracted mid-picture when the car commercial came on TV that sings the Wheels on the bus song :)

Memory Monday (Late!)

Yeah, this is a few days late.....oops :)

I'm trying to think of something I can post about that I already have pictures to go with.....I know I'm lazy, I just don't feel like scanning anything at the moment.

So.....my memory will be about my friends, which we refer to as "The Lucky 7". Most of us met towards the end of elementary school, but we didn't form our group until right after 8th grade (7th grade for 2 of the girls).

We consist of (oldest to youngest) Me, Kayleee (yes, there are 3 e's ;), April, Roux, Abby, Jessyka and M. Rachel.

We have been through so much together, good and bad. I must say that we do some very unconventional things such as; going on Jackalope hunts in the winter, sledding at the Jr. High (we like to use old carpet), taking old couches to the pit (grassy field by Roux and Jess's houses) and just sitting there and smiling when people point and laugh, attend Roux's family Halloween party religiously, make weird movies, adventures to Lake Powell, and much, much more!

This is the most recent picture I have. It was taken at Roux's Birthday party this last June. Out of the original 7 we are only missing Kaylee (who besides me is the only one married and lives in Idaho most of the time). The other girl in the picture is Marissa, we took her in in high school, so she wasn't around when we made our little group, but she really is part of the Lucky 7. We were lucky to have Rachel (in the sunglasses) here for this party because she's the one we're usually missing, she's been going to school/playing softball at a college in Kansas. And other than Kayleee in Idaho and Rachel in Kansas were all still in the Orem/Provo area still!! And yet, we only see eachother (as a group) like twice a year!!! Growing up is hard, but I'm glad to have such a good group of girls behind me watching my back. Love you girls!!!!!

So my easy memory will be when Orion was born. He was born July 9, 2005 at 10:19 in the morning. I had a very fast and easy labor and delivery, being in active labor for only about 6 hours and pushing for less than one. He was 6 lbs even and 19 inches long.

I know I look hot ;)

Home again!

Hey everyone! I'm home from my week long vacation at my mom's house in Logan. Orion had so much fun playing with his uncles and going to football games (Chandler's soph. team won, and Alex team lost, but they both got to play and they both did awesomely good, both making a few tackles each).

It was fun not having to do all the chores everyday, but it's nice to be home it the semi-peace and quiet my mom's house (full of 6 boys) doesn't seem to have :) And I also got to dig through my mom's old baby stuff, and it turns out I don't have to buy a new car seat! My dad gave me my little sister's car seat when Orion was born, but the exp. date on it is Dec. 2007......so I thought I'd have to drop at least $50 to get a new one, but my mom's car seat she used for the boys has a Dec. 2008 exp. date! Hurray!!

AND.....as much as a favor the heat over the cold, I am SO glad that the weather is cooling down and we don't have to run the AC 24/7! So, I guess we'll have some extra money because our electricity bill won't be so high! Well, only until it's gets bitterly cold and that heater has to go on :P

Just Chillin....

...at my Mommy's house. Orion is having a blast playing with his little uncles, Ryland and Bridger, and I'm enjoying not having to watch him every second of the day. So I've been taking the opportunity to catch up on some reading and rest and such. I was going to check out the Stephenie Meyer books, but of course they're all out at the library, my mom said she'll see if one of her Young Women have them so I can borrow them and see what that fuss is all about. Until then I am indulging in my first guilty pleasure, LDS romance novels :) particularly Anita Stansfield. Easy readers, and easy to fall in love with her characters.

But, at the moment I should go check on the little ones, I'm babysitting at the moment.
